Fitting BMX Handlebars: A Guide

For fitting handlebars on a BMX, adhere to these straightforward steps:

1. Remove the stem's faceplate using an Allen key.
2. Position the handlebars in the stem, ensuring that the knurled section is precisely in the middle of the stem.
3. Fit the stem by enclosing it around the handlebars. Initially, use your fingers to tighten the bolts.
4. Secure each bolt with an Allen key. Make certain to tighten the bolts bit by bit in a cross pattern to maintain even tightness across all four bolts.
5. Prior to completely tightening the bolts, examine the gap between the stem and the stem faceplate. If consistent all around the stem, proceed to tighten the bolts fully while adhering to the cross pattern.

Your handlebars should now be fitted.
