"These bindings definitely help to fine tune grip and glide with skin skis. I’m probably between a hard and extra hard flex ski. I went with the hard flex Salomon s race skin skis, and found that I needed to move the bindings all the way back to the #2 position. This improved the glide dramatically. This was skiing under normal snow conditions at 32d F (non icy tracks)"
