The GT Original 4-piece is a high-performance handlebar crafted for freestyle BMX bikes. Constructed from chromoly steel 4130, which is both lightweight and robust, this bar is exceptionally durable and resistant to snapping or bending. Known for its rigidity, the four-piece design of this GT handlebar will also add a stylish appearance to nearly any setup. With a width of 29" (73.7 cm), it is ideal for riders whose shoulder width closely matches the bar's width. The standard 22.2 mm stem diameter is compatible with all clamps of the same size. To enhance its durability, the tubing of this handlebar is straight-gauged, meaning it maintains uniform thickness throughout its entire length.
Ensure that you select a handlebar height that aligns with your personal preferences:
- An 8.6" bar height is advisable for those who are not very tall. It aids in achieving greater jump heights and facilitates easier handling of technical tricks.
- A 9.125" bar height will satisfy a large number of riders as it falls within the average range.
- A 9.875" bar height is preferable if you are taller or if you encounter posture issues when riding your bike.
