I’ve tested 32 of these ball bearings so far. They all work perfectly right out of the box; it’s great that they’re pre-lubricated and ready to go. ABEC5 is sufficient for most inline skates, and it’s a real bonus to have a few spares on hand.
I’m not sure how well they hold up or keep out small particles, but they’re definitely easy to clean and re-lubricate. Highly recommended!LACAZE EricHERSERANGE, FranceVerified Buyer5 of 5ExcellentRo W.Fleet, United KingdomVerified Buyer5 of 5Fantastic value.Freddy BirkeliOslo, NorwayVerified Buyer5 of 550 ball bearings at that price, and they're good.Sean C.Durrington, United KingdomVerified Buyer5 of 5Amazing bearings at a great price. Running two sets of 8 wheels have never been cheaper to replace all the bearings. These roll free with no noise and offer far more roll, speed and confidence than my original bearings. Would recommend as brilliant value for money.Victor PavadayChamalières, FranceVerified Buyer5 of 5Bought in a batch of 50 to replace the standard bearings that unfortunately failed, I'm very satisfied so far, after several hours' use on my inline slalom skates. After all, I'm not a veteran in the field yet, so this is just my humble opinion, and I'm not looking to go particularly fast, but they're quiet and roll well for my taste.Nils F.Essen, GermanyVerified Buyer4 of 5The description says "Both sides are closed". This description can be misunderstood. Both sides are not closed in the same way and therefore not equally tight:
The "front side is protected with a rubber ring which probably protects the bearing reasonably well from contamination and can be removed for maintenance purposes. The rear side is only "protected" by a plastic ring whose main task seems to be to hold the balls in the correct position. However, there are 0.5-1mm (estimate) gaps through which dirt could theoretically get in. As this side faces inwards, it will generally be exposed to far less dirt than the side with the rubber ring. But I think you should be aware of this before you buy. As I only ride on roads or in the city, I am interested in optimum protection against dirt.Reply from SkateProHello Nils,
