The Wilson MG2 Mouth Guard is expertly designed to reduce the chances of concussions and dental harm during vigorous sports. Made from top-notch, robust materials, this mouthguard promises a snug and secure fit, enabling you to concentrate on your activities without any diversions.
A highlight of the Wilson MG2 Mouth Guard is its innovative two-layer construction, delivering outstanding protection from impacts and shocks. The exterior layer efficiently spreads the force of impact, whilst the interior layer absorbs and softens the blow, lessening the likelihood of injuries to your teeth, gums, and jaws.
Ideal Fit for Both Adults and Youths:
Wilson appreciates the importance of comfort and fit, hence the MG2 Mouth Guard is available in two sizes: adult and youth.
The adult size is designed for individuals aged 10 and over, whereas the youth size is made for those aged 10 years and below.
Size: Adult fits ages over 10 / Youth fits ages under 10
Customising the Mouthguard, Caution! Boiling water can be hazardous!
-
Bring water to a boil and allow it to stand for 30 seconds before placing the adult guard in the water for 70 seconds. (30 seconds for Youth)
-
Remove the guard from the water with a spoon, shake off excess water, and promptly centre the guard on the upper teeth. (The guard should remain warm)
-
Once the upper teeth are centred, bite gently together and use your tongue to suck/squeeze air and excess water from the guard. You may also use the fingers to press the protector into place from the outside.
-
Keep the guard in place for 30 seconds, then remove and cool it under running cold water.
-
If the fit is not perfect, repeat the procedure until it is adequate.
-
If the guard happens to be slightly too large, you may trim some excess from the ends using a knife.
