Weighing just 230 grams per wheel (including bearings), the Root scooter wheels are among the lightest on the market. This is achieved through the use of high-grade 6061 aluminium and a distinctive construction.

Root's Air wheels are crafted using hollowcore technology. Essentially, this involves trapping air in the core between two robust aluminium plates, creating a construction that is not only light but also highly strong.
