Skateable Masterpiece by Powell Peralta x Levon Biss
Powell Peralta's Biss Flight deck stands out as a skateable masterpiece, incorporating all the renowned Powell Peralta skateboard innovations.
The artwork on the deck is crafted by the acclaimed British photographer Levon Biss, whose work has graced the covers of TIME and The New York Times magazines. Currently, Levon is concentrating on the natural environment, particularly intricate insects. Each photograph requires him more than four weeks to complete and is composed of over 8000 individual images.
As for the Flight deck itself, it is crafted to be thinner, stronger, and more durable than a typical 7-ply deck, thanks to its 2-ply epoxy/fibreglass construction. This feature also provides an excellent amount of rebound and snap, ideal for achieving higher Ollies.
