Description
The Overland was developed following extensive discussions with the Loaded Ambassadors, many of whom sought a board capable of merging their riding styles more effectively, using only a single longboard.
This board features a deck that combines two Loaded decks: the Kanthaka and the Tesseract. The Kanthaka is designed for technical freeride and street tricks, while the Tesseract is favoured by many for downhill. However, Loaded and the team aspired to strike the ideal balance between these two, resulting in the Overland.
The Overland is essentially the ultimate tool for longboarding and skateboarding enthusiasts alike. It enables freeriding and sliding with ease, thanks to the comfortable foot lock in its concave shape, while its old-school directional pool shape offers an entertaining ride at the local skatepark and bowl.
This longboard is constructed with a layer of vertically laminated bamboo, providing a relatively stiff flex. This is sandwiched between two layers of triaxial fibreglass and completed on the underside with a layer of thermoplastic urethane, which, being low friction, makes the Overland excellent for sliding on rails. Additionally, this bottom layer helps to dampen vibrations.
