Base Kit Prep Ski Glide Wax

A comprehensive glider kit for your cross-country skis.

Included:
Combi Brush
Graphite Glider (suitable for all temperatures)
Glider (Can be utilised as Glider for cleaning and saturation)
Scraper
Pencil Groove Scraper

1) Prepare the base structure: Apply the combi brush to the glider areas with 2-3 strokes.

2) Cleaning for used skis (New skis: Proceed to step 3): Utilise an iron (sold separately) to warm the glider in the glide zones. Once the glider wax has set, yet remains warm, remove the wax with the scraper. Follow by using the combi brush with 2-3 strokes in the glide zones.

3) Apply 2 layers of glider wax with an iron. Begin with the first layer and allow the ski to cool down. Follow these steps:

a) Remove the central base guide with the pencil groove scraper
b) Remove the glide wax from the rest of the base using the scraper
c) Use the combi brush with 2-3 strokes in the glider areas
d) Add the second layer and let the skis cool again before repeating the previous steps once more.

4) Apply abrasion resistant layer: Utilise an iron to warm in a layer of graphite in the glider zones for enhanced abrasion resistance. Allow the skis to cool and then proceed as follows:

a) Scrape the central base guide with the pencil groove scraper
b) Remove the remaining glider from the base with the scraper
c) Use the combi brush, striking approximately 15 times until the base gleams.
