Description
Enhanced wheels designed for speed skating. These are based on the four-part TR3 system "Core improvement" and G13 Polyurethane. Matter laboratories, in collaboration with the Powerslide Matter racing team, are highly confident that this wheel will lead in both track and road racing for the foreseeable future.
Featuring G13 PU, these wheels provide excellent grip without sacrificing performance in rotation, offering superb responsiveness in turns. They incorporate S.E.R.T. technology, an abbreviation for Stored Energy Ring Technology. Neal Piper, the engineer behind the wheel, best explains this technology:
"A crucial element in any inline racing wheel is the transition layer where a softer component connects with a much firmer mounting base. This area is vital for energy management within the wheel. At this essential hinge or pivot point, the push's power and the “stored rotational energy” within the deflected tyre must be preserved. When a transition or mounting layer between the PU tyre and the tougher plastic hub is correctly constructed, it enables an optimal balance between tyre flexibility and energy release across the whole wheel."
Matter wheels utilise the Footprint scale, with F1 denoting footprint 1.
F1 - equivalent to approx. 85A
F2 - equivalent to approx. 84A
F3 - equivalent to approx. 83A
