Capture Overknee 4mm Backzip 2018 Junior Wetsuit

The Capture Overknee wetsuit for juniors is a 4mm design featuring a back-zip. This back-zip makes entering and exiting the suit easier.

This shorter Overknee version of the Capture is ideal for warmer waters, allowing freedom for the feet and lower legs.

Constructed not only to shield from water but also to combat windchill. It’s an excellent wetsuit suitable for various types of watersports, catering from beginners to the more advanced young athletes.

• Water Gate Plus

Panels beside the zip at the back prevent water from entering inside.

• Robust

In the knee regions, L-Tex nylon is applied for added protection and enhanced durability.

• Aqua-A

Aqua-A is a water-based, solvent-free glue used in all Ion wetsuits.

• Seam reinforcements

To reinforce stress points within the wetsuit, Ion has included Melco tape, increasing its durability. Ion advises: “If the suit is accidentally left in the boot of your car on a hot day, they might start peeling off. Don’t worry! Simply use an iron lightly over the area affected as the glue reactivates with heat.”

• Contour Cut

Wetsuits that adhere to body contours improve flexibility and comfort. All Ion wetsuits are equipped with contour cut.

• Drain Holes

To prevent water build-up where fabric overlaps exist, drain holes have been implemented. These drain holes do not enlarge.

• Sunglass Loop

A webbing loop at the neck of the wetsuit allows attachment of Ion sunglasses.

• Internal Key Pocket

Inside the wetsuit, there is a water-resistant internal key pocket.
