Enhancing both strength and lightness was the aim in crafting the Lambda 3.1 deck. Many conventional necks penetrate the centre of the stunt scooter deck, resulting in a vulnerability. AO employs a U-shaped welding technique that minimally impacts the deck while substantially expanding the welding area. The headtube is forged from a single aluminium block under 5 tonnes of pressure, as is the neck! 30% stronger support beams.

Additional enhancements include a machined headset opening after anodising for an exact fit, and the neck has been moved entirely forward to optimise deck space. The angled form begins immediately at the beam to avert any bending of the edges.
