Nova 2018 Womens Waist Kitesurfing Harness

The Ion Nova kitesurfing waist harness for women targets freeride, wave, and freestyle kitesurfers.

Its design, featuring EVA foam, an x-shaped internal support, and soft edges, makes this harness an excellent piece of kitesurfing equipment, providing improved control, comfort, and flexibility.

The Nova includes the Ion C-bar technology. Thanks to the C-bar technology, the spreader bar is constructed not from metal, but from reinforced injected fibres, making it exceptionally lightweight. The spreader incorporates a tension lever system that effortlessly secures the harness for a snug fit.

• Inside EVA

The structure is enhanced for comfort through an internal EVA layer.

• X Spine

The x-shaped EVA thermo-moulded insert offers optimised back protection while maintaining flexibility for a natural and unrestricted range of movement.

• Soft Edge and Extended Soft Edge

The edge surrounding the harness is crafted from extremely soft neoprene and complemented by a specialised foam to enhance the comfortable wearing experience. The Soft Edge flexes laterally at the hips and ribs to increase comfort.

• Split Edge

To achieve a perfect fit around the body, the Split Edge comprises a divided buckle plate, ensuring it remains close to the body for exceptional comfort and power transfer.

• HPL Slider

A slender handle at the back, equipped with an integrated stainless steel ring for connecting the handle pass leash.

• Belt Garage

Houses that cover and protect the buckles with a rubber patch, providing easy storage for the webbing.

• Kite Knife

A kite knife is a handy tool for cutting the lines in emergencies. This harness includes an integrated kite knife.

• Invisible Seam

These seams ensure a seamless transition from the midsection of the harness to the soft neoprene edges.

• Bar Keeper Belt

The Bar Keeper Belt is affixed to the lower section of the harness. When connected to the spreader bar, this ensures the spreader bar remains in a low position.
