Catamaran 18/19 Backcountry Skis

In the name and dimensions of these powder skis, it's clear that something extraordinary is at play with these K2 skis.

The Catamaran, part of K2's Factory Team Collection, has a waist width of 120mm with an asymmetric tip and tail. That's wide and floaty - delivering a surf-like experience in white, soft, deep snow. The factory series is geared towards surfy, manoeuvrable, and playful sessions.

These skis are built using Double Barrel construction, featuring dense Fir along with lighter Aspen wood cores. Fir, located over the edges, offers solid edge-to-edge performance, while the central Aspen wood contributes lightweight and lively characteristics. To complete the design, longitudinal carbon stringers are included for added rebound and dynamic properties.

These powder machines boast full sidewalls to further improve power transfer and excellent edge grip. The high and long-rise tip and tail Powder Rocker will enhance their floatation.
