Savant 165 Longboard Truck

The team at Paris Truck Co. have been diligently working to develop the Savant truck for longboards. They have adopted a novel approach to some of the essential components that constitute a truck.

One of the primary alterations has been shifting to a fully forged hanger, in contrast to the traditional cast hangers. This results in a significantly stronger truck with precise control and tolerances. The pivot point is noticeably smaller and takes inspiration from race riders. This allows Paris to employ a thicker pivot cup bushing, leading to enhanced vibration damping and a smoother ride.

Another major innovation is the patented captive axle lock system. This guarantees perfectly straight trucks that maintain their alignment substantially longer than other systems. The design surrounding the kingpin construction has been significantly refined to help eradicate "slopping" during slides and to make the ride considerably more stable at high speeds.
