Trinity AMP 5mm Chestzip 2018 Womens Wetsuit

• Aqua-A

Aqua-A is a solvent-free, water-based adhesive used in all Ion wetsuits.

• Seam reinforcements

To fortify stress points internally in the wetsuit, Ion have added Melco tape for heightened durability. Ion advises: “If you accidentally left the suit in the boot of your car on a hot day, it might begin to peel off. Don't worry! Gently use an iron over the affected area as the glue is activated by heat.”

• Contour Cut

Wetsuits are tailored to follow body contours, enhancing flexibility and comfort. All Ion wetsuits feature a contour cut.

• Drain Holes

To prevent water buildup where fabrics overlap, drain holes are incorporated. These drain holes won’t expand.

• Internal Key Pocket

Inside the wetsuit, there is an internal pocket for keys that is water-resistant.

• Supra Tex

Fabrics are used for more exposed areas on the wetsuit - such as the knee sections. The Supra Tex fabric is more resistant to abrasion.

• Seal Tight

Optimised with Seal Tight seam areas. These thin rubber stripes on the legs, cuffs, and collar are less fragile and enhance sealing.

• Maki Tape

Internally, the use of Maki Tape optimises flexibility, water resistance, and reinforces the seams.

• Ninja Knee

To enhance freedom of movement, Ninja Knee improves elasticity in the knee areas.

• GBS - Glued Blind Stitched

To effectively bond neoprene panels and achieve excellent water resistance, glueing is used in combination with blind stitch sewing to join the panels.
