Recife Surfskate

From Long Island Longboards comes the Recife Surfskate. It features a pleasant width, refreshing summer-inspired graphics, and an overall agreeable setup for enjoying a boardwalk cruise.

This season introduces Surfskates to the Long Island longboards range. This is a collection of cruiser-styled boards fitted with 150mm reverse kingpin trucks. The baseplate has a distinct shape that allows for a wide range of pivotal turns. This design enables the trucks to turn sharply, offering a truly surf-like sensation.

Although it does not turn as tightly as, for example, a double kingpin constructed truck, it maintains a more stable and solid feel when cruising comfortably. This also implies that if you intend to use it as a genuine surfer, substantial carving techniques will be required to achieve forward motion.
