Robust and rigid VX deck by Santa Cruz
The Total Dot skateboard deck from Santa Cruz is a VX deck, signifying it's constructed with just 5-plies of North American Hard Rock Maple along with 2-plies of reinforcing Santa Cruz Quad X Technology (carbon/fibreglass).
VX decks are more robust and rigid compared to standard 7-ply boards. If you're finding that you're breaking too many decks, the Total Dot could be your answer.
The Total Dot is also marginally lighter and significantly thinner than regular 7-ply decks. It may feel somewhat unusual initially, but becomes fantastic once you adapt to it.
